Senior Salesforce Developer (Immediate Joinee Preferred)

Job Summary

Location - Pune / Nagpur / Remote

Position - Full Time

Responsibilities

• Work as part of our dynamic Salesforce team throughout the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with and mentor team members through code review, design and knowledge sharing.
• Participate in the full application life cycle from technical design, administrative activities to development, automated testing, and deployment, including data quality and design.
• Design and implement critical solutions on the Force.com platform utilizing Visualforce, Apex, D/HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Actively engage in an Agile (Scrum) environment with a focus on iterative and test-driven methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to continuous improvement practices as required to meet quality/time-to-market imperatives.
• Assists with user story grooming to better define technical configuration changes and translate business intent.
• Participate in the development of W&D's next-generation Salesforce platform (Lightning).
• Communicate issues, risks, and concerns proactively to management.

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of development experience with Salesforce.
• Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) environment.

A perfect fit for this role:

• Expert-level experience in Lightning, Apex and Visualforce development.
• Experience with Salesforce Communities.
• Experience building Web-based UIs with a deep understanding of HTML, JavaScript (including libraries such as jQuery and Prototype) and CSS.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns and prior work with OO languages (e.g. Java, Ruby, C#, C++).
• Prior experience with an MVC framework.
• Effective decision-making and critical thinking skills for problem identification and solution recommendations.
